GROOVY is looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to spearhead its paid acquisition and growth strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
This role owns ROAS, CAC, scaling decisions, creative performance feedback, and cross-team alignment. You will work closely with the creative team to guide high-performing content and ensure marketing efforts are consistently aligned with GROOVY’s growth objectives.
This is a results-driven leadership role, not just execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Advertising Strategy & Execution
- Own and manage paid campaigns across:
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Explore and test new platforms (Snapchat, TikTok, etc.)
- Plan, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns based on performance data.
- Continuously monitor ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPM, and conversion rates.
2. Performance Optimization & ROI Ownership
- Actively analyze ad performance and make data-driven optimizations.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action quickly.
- Align ad spend with revenue targets and profitability goals.
- Forecast performance and scaling opportunities.
3. Creative Direction for Performance
- Work closely with the creative and content teams to:
- Direct ad creatives that convert
- Share insights on winning hooks, formats, and messaging
- Translate performance data into clear creative feedback.
- Ensure creative testing is structured and continuous.
4. Cross-Team Alignment & Communication
- Keep marketing, creative, and leadership teams aligned on:
- Campaign goals
- Performance insights
- Scaling plans
- Share regular performance reports and actionable insights.
- Act as the central point of accountability for growth marketing.
5. Multi-Channel Growth Expansion
- Build and manage Google SEO & keyword marketing strategies.
- Develop and test acquisition strategies on new platforms.
- Diversify traffic sources to reduce dependency on a single platform.
6. Tracking, Analytics & Reporting
- Ensure proper tracking and attribution across platforms.
- Monitor funnels from ad click → purchase.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries with clear insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and funnel efficiency.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years experience in performance marketing / paid media.
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager.
- Working knowledge of:
- Google Ads & YouTube Ads
- SEO & keyword-driven marketing
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in numbers and dashboards.
- Ability to guide creatives using performance data.
Preferred (Strong Advantage)
- Experience with e-commerce or D2C brands.
- Understanding of creative testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Experience scaling ad accounts with real budgets.
